We haven't found a reason to drop people off our friends list even if we hardly speak directly. There's no harm in them being on there, and if we were friends once maybe we will be again.

Yeah...ours is all people we know in real life and have met or forum friends...

If we don't speak to someone for ages I remove them.

Ordinarily, yes but as some haven’t logged on for months because; life, I’m not touching it.

I usually keep my friends list for people that I actually converse with and have met but in current situations, it’s a bit more complex

Hmm. Kind of. There are a couple of people I've not spoken to in months but they'll stay on because I imagine real life has happened. Generally I'm happy with my friends list and it's culled fairly oft.
