I've seen the future and it is MUKBANG!
A kind soul introduced me to it this weekend and I can honestly say it's totally opened my eyes.
I'm a convert to MUKBANG!
I shall be trying to partake in this as much as I can over the next few weeks.
MUKBANG! |

The BBC did a really interesting report on this about 5 years ago.
I didn't get it then and thought it was a bit odd but after the last year I definitely get the appeal now. |

"Is it like gang bang but dirty? gang bang in mud?
No! More exciting!
MUKBANG!
Don't think I'd have the stomach for it "
You never know until you try.

How is eating food and being filmed exciting??? I actively avoid being filmed as I eat
Although I did enjoy the food scene in 9 1/2 weeks but possibly this won't have the same effect on me |

I watched that. Interesting. It gained popularity in 2010 and was short listed by Collins Dictionaries to be a word of the year. |

Good god no!!!!!
I have misphonia and my biggest issue with sound is people masticating with their mouths open so this would be pure hell for me.
I'm OK with sitting with people eating if I'm eating too and I can see their mouths are closed (it subdued subdues the noise) but mouth open chewing brings on instant rage as a workmate found out and had my dinner over his head in the works canteen.
You can keep these videos OP, enjoy to your hearts content and feel free to watch my share too |

Ahhh excessively eating stuff in large portions very loudly.. ... some of the stuff some people eat is just borderline crazy and cruel sometimes.. shouldn't be a thing. |

I watch a South Korean woman go about her day; mostly in her flat as she works from home.
I'm addicted to watching her cook and eat.
She's very slim but eats like a horse, piling food onto her spoon and downing it in one.
You don't see her face when she ears, which is part of the appeal.
Her gulps make me feel so hungry.
