Ultimately I think that when people are miserable or feel they’re in a less than perfect relationship, they start romanticising old ones.
Rather than chasing old relationships, she would be better served to resolve the issues with her current partner.
As flattering as I might be for you, her actions are not respectful to her current partner and are more about her current relationship than her past one with you.
