I have my own style of clothing and do my own thing. I do have tattoos and would like more if I can deal with the pain...
As for my hair I don’t like unnatural colours, it’s just not my thing. |

I fell in love with alt girl style when I was a kid.
Although at that point we just called it style.
I love the aesthetic and the vibe still even tho I have no hair left to back comb and my Mary quant lipstick is lost somewhere in 1995.
I admire quack and ivy for their style and attitude. |

Yes alt girls are very attractive as much about attitude as much as looks. I suppose I’ve been around quite a few over the years, with my interest in biker and the fetish community. Generally know what they want and can hold themselves up against any bloke they meet |

D typing...so lucky to live with an 'alt' girl 35 years my junior. Lovely tattoos (that pic embellished with hot wax) and sooo many piercings (some of which I have done) We do cosplay in the fetish world and in a non covid world get to heavy metal gigs

They have to mean it though, you can’t be alt, if you have the band t shirt and not know any of their songs, there’s must be some substance under the style otherwise it’s all surface and no feeling and quite frankly that not for me. |

You need to know all their b sides and have a 12’ picture disc on vinyl to be considered supercool!  |

Whilst many have some tattoos and piercings now, the full on alt look is still far from mainstream.
To me it is a full on image, nothing in my wardrobe is mainstream (unless you count pjs)
Everything is from alt or 50s retailers or even made by myself.
I have spent thousands over the years and my hair is dyed fortnightly.
Rock bars are the only places I see others like me still.
I sure as hell stand out in a standard pub/nightclub/swingers club |
