I haven't watched it and I didn't watch any of the endless hours of coverage when he died as they just re run the same 4 bits of news.
It's a sad occasion for all those who loved him and I hope that the ceremony goes well.
For all you think of the royals, Prince Phillip was still a human with a family he leaves behind and he will be missed by them. |

I've turned it off. Felt like encroaching on their grief somehow.

i even think this about going to funerals when you didn’t know the person but its seen to be the right thing to support someone you know who is grieving - there is a time and place to support people and i don’t think at the funeral which is hard enough as it is , is the right time |
