Ah that's sad. top bloke is Bob

.

"Nothing unusual," he says! Eric's been blown to smithereens, Colin's been carved up, and I've got a bomb in me casino, and you say nothing unusual?

I remember him when he used to do 'on the move'. i was about 12

Parkinson's runs in my family. Hate to see how it debilitates.

I think Bob has done the best thing in retiring to spend more time with his family, his legacy of work and films will go on for him.

from a town near you

such a shame,he always came across as such a good guy

i watched a programe on Parkinsons a few years ago, they followed a guy who used marijuana to control the shakes, then they showed you what he was like without it,it wasnt pretty

shame they cant get it on NHS if it works that well

I've lost my gran and two uncles to it, and an aunt is still hanging on in there. It's missed my mum but I dread being the next generation to have it.

I think he will keep doing small parts or voice overs.

Whatever he does do, good luck to him.

When i looked after a gent with it he suffered terrible with the shakes so i made him some wrist weights to control the shakes to a level he could feed himself without my help.. It gave him a little bit of his dignity and self worth back.

He passed away 2yr ago. funny how some people stay with you.

Such a shame, but he's done the right thing so he and his family can make the most of the years which remain.

Watched a neighbour of mine degenerate over a period of about 8 years due to Parkinsons.

Not nice...

Good luck Bob....

That's a shame.

He could still do voice overs though, like Michael J Fox.
