Hmmm I gotta admit…. I’m a little bemused with the inclusion of BMX….
I’ve no doubt the competitors are really talented and its obviously very popular, but I just don’t see it as an Olympic sport….
Oh, I know in reality the Toff’s riding their horses are doing something similar, and BMX is a lot more accessible to the masses….. but it just don’t press my button …..
I mean come-on, what next, space-hopper racing?(which incidentally, I’d be in with a shot of gold at) Cuz yeah-man I can bounce up and down all day long…..

I didn't see it. How big was her chest?
GB lost out on the female BMX gold last Olympics because of a crash I seem to remember, she was leading. |

I must say it agree with you its a good job we didn't have those people that run around jumping over barriers and running up buildings as a sport, that would get ridiculous, can't for the heck of me remember the name of it. But I can't understand why BMX was there, it's classed as urban sports. |

our two riders are fancied for medals!!.
shanaze reade is current world champion!,and has a few world golds to her name.
she is also a former world champion in the velodrome!,at only 18 yrs of age she first partnered queen vic (victoria pendleton)to 2 world titles in the team sprint!.
our rider in male events is liam phillips a silver medal winner in world championships in birmingham in may,last year he rode in the velodrome with sir chris hoy & jason kenny in the team sprint as lead off in man one position before returning to bmx for the olympics!.

Don't recall her leading at time of her crash, however she was favourite for gold by being the reigning world champion in 2008 |

she was leading in final race but clipped a corner,she too eager to win and should have eased. |
