It feels like a new chapter is just around the corner. The door to normality is only slightly ajar, but soon we might have more freedom if all goes well. To put this time to a good use.. have you decided to make any changes in your life?
I'm joining the gym. Looks like the PT I chose is ex military. They told me after. |

"Join the gym, tone up and shift some inches.
Learn to ignore dickheads and not let them get to you.
Get out more and meet new people and make new friends "
Solid plan ! and I have all my fingers crossed for all those! |

Your chrysalis looks fine to me just now
Happy flights! |

I'm currently trying to find a gym to join and I need a scary PT as well, that will keep me motivated.
I'm going to stop overthinking everything and start spending time doing things for me, that I enjoy. I sort of lost my confidence and self belief these past few months and now it's a time for rediscovering that and enjoying life. |

It was a strange time and very challenging. Gym might just set a good course for changes in self belief too. I just walked into one once out and about! |

I won't be joining a gym
I'd like to join some sort of organised sport - I fancy netball
I would like to do yoga - but the yummy mummy crew intimidate me.
They're all so posh and young and bendy |

I'm looking to be more social! I've not maintained many connections over the years and realised through lockdown how much I actually needed them so post lockdowns going to be all about meeting people, maybe joining a few clubs etc |

Go back to the gym and get back into a routine. Also more travel, more gigs and more time with friends and family.
You don't appreciate what you have till it's taken away from you. |

I've tried diets and gyms a lot over the years and always fall off the wagon so my thought now is to be healthier and learn to love my body as it is.
I'm trying to be easier and more compassionate with myself as well

I hope you're able to get there D-A. It's difficult being compassionate but so easy to be so to others. |

Thanks Meli. It's so easy to treat others how you want to be treated but not so easy to do it the other way round and show yourself the same compassion you afford to others. |

"My main post-lockdown resolution is to be braver about establishing whether people I like like me back.
Get them tiger
"
Thank you. Fingers crossed I can do it without making anyone uncomfortable. |

I am very sorry about your loss
It's great you are there for your Mum and definitely need that closeness in bereavement time. May the days fly till next Saturday |

See family and friends
Go to festivals (never been)
Take up a new hobby - I fancy learning burlesque
Travel round Britain
And make the most of the freedom I took for granted before |

I've started a bit early but doing some form of exercise every day. I'm becoming quite addicted to the buzz you get after.
I'm going to stop procrastinating as much.
Oh, I quit my job and launched my own business recently.
I guess this period in time has changed everything for me in life. Maybe by losing a close friend to covid, it's taught me life is short and to just go for what makes you happiest x |

A few specific ones but more generally to try and fully appreciate all the small things we've missed for as long as possible, and not take them for granted again. There can be so much joy and curiosity in everyday human interactions; we don't always need to travel the world to discover new adventures. |

"Yes I have .
It sounds slightly selfish but for the first time in 15 years I'm putting myself first, as in I'm going to enjoy things I like doing , not what others say I should do "
Not selfish, it's necessary I like the saying "you can't pour from an empty cup"

I hope everyone is different after all this, that we appreciate the most normal things. I can't wait to be in a full bar struggling to get served!!!
I will try to be more patient and keep in touch with friends and family better, travel, eat well, take more chances and opportunities and generally love life xx |
