Secret hideaway in the pennines

Over the last few weeks, I have been chatting to a couple of very nice ladies friend request sent or received and accepted, messages exchanged on a daily basis .

I wake up this morning and poof, the messages have gone along with their accounts.

Not a happy teddy as we were getting on great and talking about meeting once restrictions end.

I guess that's life

People come & go, you don’t know what goes on in real life

Take comfort in that they probably had issues that they needed distracting from and you helped. I very much doubt if their leaving had anything to do with you and I don’t think they knew the effect it would have on you.

I know just sad when you actually connect. One in particular. Cest la vie.

I didn’t think that a “correspondent “ could remove a message that you had already received (and read). Is that not so? Maybe I’m being thick - not that unusual. I would agree with some of the previous writers that “fabland” is my a strange land where the rules are different...

You can't remove a message you send, but messages are deleted automatically when someone leaves the site.

shits creek

I've hidden my profile today coz being back at work I'm not on here that much now to monitor it and the rest of fab (so if someone stole my pics etc I'd not find out if I'm only popping on 5 minutes here and there kinda thing)

Maybe they're back at work too and have realised they haven't really the time to offer convos etc, or their head just isn't in it anymore

somewhere, someplace

It's a kicker but it happens, an escape from what's been going on in the world is what I've put half of mine down to

"That's Fab life."

Very much so, but amongst the lead ons, let downs and ghosting etc there’s eventually some high points.

Just means that they've left the site ... could be for any number of reasons so no point in thinking about it really

The use of the term "friends" baffles me ... it's just someone you're talking to online
