Because a single woman could put "Hitler was ok, I guess" and would still get more likes than dislikes (I jest, kind of)
Also, it's a snowball effect. Once a post get more likes or more dislikes, people can jump in the bandwagon instead of thinking for themselves |

Never used dating apps. But surely you swipe if you like, so that’s the like part done. I’d imagine a dislike button could be negative and not nice for people to see how many dislikes they have |
