Been listening to plenty of Japanese rock recently.
Things like:
AA=
Mad Capsule Markets
Wagdug Futuristic Unity
???
It's all a little different and I'm not quite sure what genre they sit, but they are definitely 'alternative'. Just not sure they are in the 'alternative' genre. |

I used to love TOOL, first album was awesome, saw them supporting someone at rock city in the early 90s can’t remember who they were better than the main act. it was Pantera, faith no more or Danzig.
These days Sylvan Esso , Sleaford Mods, and Radio 6

Bit of a mishmash for us - still loving Kelly Lee Owens’s album from last years, Cassandra Jenkins’s new one is pretty awesome too. Getting more and more into Dry Cleaning too... and Lost Horizons for fans of indie at the dreamier end... |

I love a bit of old school rock just as much as the next person. AC/DC up to "Black In Black"; Led Zep; Bad Company.
Love the 1st Dred Zepplin album! Who says Elvis can't do Led Zep?
But I have been listening to the 1975's & Pale Waves for my indie synth pop fix - vey addictive!
The Midnight do a retro 80's vibe too! Cool sax, lush synth sounds & drum machines. Catchy lyrics..... Niiiiice! |
