So while looking at jobs online on a well know job search engine I happend to come (ahem) across a job role of 'Penetration Tester'!
The advert then went on to state they looking for a Penetration Tester to join the growing team. Stating that if you want to sharpen your Penetration skills and gain more responsibilities then this is the job for you!!
Now I may have a dirty mind or just plain childish - but this made me giggle so much.
Any other interesting job titles out there? Why not share the fun  |

A penetration tester is someone who breaks into a computer system for fun and for profit. Unlike a hacker, who uses similar skills and techniques, a penetration tester has actually the permission of the owner of that system. Very useful if you want to find out if a computer system has any security gaps. A penetration test is also called a "White Hat Hacker", the bad guys are wearing a "Black Hat".
"Grey Hat Hacker" are undecided on which side they are, but are open to suggestion if they receive sufficient encouragement (e.g. money)
Other funny job titles are
- Scrum Master (Project manager for computer programming)
- Cloud designer (Planning and implementation of special computer systems)
- Big Iron operator (someone responsible for big and old-fashioned computers)
We IT people love funny names and titles, it is the only way to get attention  |

Yeah - I read into it a wee bit as couldn't believe how the first part of the advert started! I'm sure it grabs the attention though |

I once saw a job advert in the local Job Centre. It was for a Vague inspector looking at ladies front bottoms and inspecting for anomalies. I went to the Center and the bloke said I had to go to Cornwall. I said "is that where the job is?" He said 'no, that's where the back of the queue is!!"
