I have been on and off fab for nearly 9 years but only noticed the forum about 3 years ago.
I can remember feeling daunted but the good morning thread run by PP made me feel welcomed and part of this community. Haven't looked back since.

Hello there
I’ve been using the forum for two years and more actively over the last year. Before I’d pop in have a quick look, comment now and again. I’ve used it a lot more since!
I can’t say I found it all that daunting, I felt welcomed and made some lovely friends |

I’ve been in them for about two years, including previous accounts.
For the most part I enjoy them, but they can be brutal at times, and if I’m feeling emotionally fragile then I can struggle.
I’ve made some fantastic and amazing friends though, so it was well worth it. |

I've been here about a year now I think.
Joined the forum as soon as I could, so I could get to know people and build up confidence (well there also wasn't much else to do when joining during a pandemic).
Had lots of fun doing the forum photos challenges too. |

I have enjoyed the forums immensely since my time on Fab. Even when I was banned. It definitely gives me a lift and boosts my confidence when needed. Everyone is very welcoming and some threads are so funny.
If I can find any negatives about it, it would be some threads can become less than inclusive, there is a certain clique, just like in any social group setting I suppose. I just avoid these threads if that's the case.
But generally all in all a positive experience. |

Hello Mick!
I can't remember when I first started using the forums (or I'm a bit too embarrassed to say!). It did seem a bit daunting at first, people know each other and make jokes with each other because they are comfortable.
There are some very inclusive light hearted threads that are run and are a nice way of dipping your toe in and becoming familiar/friendly with other posters - the nocturnal thread and the morning thread. |

When I first found the forums I don’t think people were ready for my maverick approach, sure I ruffled a few feathers along the way, sure some forumites thought my approach was unconventional, but I was naive, a troubadour, an auteur if you will, but I stand by my those early threads, I think they were definitely work in progress and very much the blueprint for all the Married, snog, avoid threads you see now. |

My first stint on the forums was back in 2013 being dyslexic and spelling being a little off it didn’t go over well so didn’t bother ventureing back in
When the first lockdown last year happened I considered quitting fab till everything was back to normal
But decided to give the forums a nother chance and so glad I did

Too long to count. The forums go through so many cycles. For a while you get all the same topics posted again and again, with the same posters. It can be hard for new formites to feel included in these. I've found myself pulling more away from the Lounge and into other areas x |

I have been on Fabs over 3 years on this profile. I don’t tend to start too many threads but I tend to get involved in other people’s threads.I was a bit apprehensive at first but I decided I just give my honest thoughts. If people agree great if they don’t fair enough.A few have given me a bit of stick on another thread and for the time been I am just following it.If and when the time feels right I may respond. |

3 maybe 4 years now I think .
It honestly took me well over a year to feel like I belonged .
I persevered and now it's honestly changed my life .
Scary as hell at first when you are new but I encourage any new folk to be patient and persevere, I could change your life |

Not been on that long. I lurked for a while, but during lockdown I really enjoyed reading the threads and decided to add my two pence worth every now and again. Everyone has been very friendly, and it’s been a sort of social life over the past year. I’m a very sociable person, and I have missed those everyday chats with family and friends I took for granted. It’s great to chat to both men and women who share similar interests to me, and find out who is on the same wave length. |

About 18 months or so I guess.
I lurked for a few months first. I have found support, friendliness and acceptance beyond anything I have ever experienced before.
I spent years convinced I was just 'wrong' and was full of self loathing and shame. The confidence the forum has given me through the (mostly) inclusive attitudes I have encountered has been such a breath of fresh air.
Thank you all x |

I've been on Fab for about 14 months, I found the forums soon after I joined.
It took ages for me to post the first time and I still get a bit self conscious if I come back after a bit of a break. Things move so quickly, it's hard enough to keep up when I'm using them daily |

Around four years. It’s only me (V) who posts. Abby would have got us permanently banned if she took part.
I don’t post to seek approval or keep in with any particular group. I’m in the background, contributing to threads that interest me.
I’ve seen many profiles come and go. I’m happy to see some familiar names, others I avoid and some I add to our hotlist.
Every once in a while I get fed up and take a break, other times I binge, all depending on how busy ‘real’ life is.

The forums are daunting when trying to find your own crowd feels impossible, but given time you can end up talking to some you might get along with.
Time is impossible to gauge on fab, I feel I’ve been here forever. |

Been on fab and using the forums for around 8 years under various guises. Still awaiting my Platinum Membership to be approved so i can join the clique
Met some wonderful people through it and blocked some absolute arseholes.
Had lots of laughs, but cried at times.
Been supported through most crisis' but been badly let down through one of the very worst.
If fab didnt have the forum then probably wouldn't stay...all hail the forums! |

I think it's been about 2.5 years. Yes it was daunting at first and you can sometimes feel like an outsider whe5so many know each other. To be honest that feeling can keep resurfacing even when you've been here years as the social circles are ever shifting. Mostly though it's good fun here and there's some amazing people. |

I’ve been on fab for about 7 ish years, on the forums for as long as I could be and posted as soon as I got verified!
It’s changed a hell of a lot in that time, back then it was a balanced mix of couples and singles, lots of different perspectives and opinions and it could be massively informative, as well as a nasty place too!

Hey everyone.
It’s mainly me, Just, in the forums but Becky comes in occasionally too.
Been on fab since 2014 as a single and always used the forums.
Sometimes there’s little we want to join in with but most days we’ll find something to amuse us.
The form can be divisive though, especially for newbies. |

So, to many of you, I'm the new guy, to me, many of you are new here
I'm not recognising many though, could be a change of profile name in some cases.
I'll likely pop in and out, when I've the time.

Started using them probably around the first lockdown. Clubs were shut, so this was a good way to make connections.
For the most part it's worked, but posting less and less these days.
Only so many "this or that" threads one can handle... |

The strange thing is I think it’s more daunting for the guys especially the cocky one who think they are gods gift to women, that when they first join Fab they treat it like a dating site & they only have to send out a few messages to get laid when ever they feel like it ! Then they hit the harsh reality & realise very quickly when their ego is bruised that they are the majority on here and the women are the minority! That they have to make an effort & treat them with respect and it’s the ladies and the. couples that call the shots ! Which I think is a good thing ! ImI met my best friend on here and together we had an amazing time ! we met some great friends along the way and had some amazing experiences! Just treat people with respect be honest reliable and they will do the same. I agree the forums are a great way to meet people i myself left all the chit chat to Trisha to my friend she never had a problem meeting new people which is easer being female and a she was a gorgeous ladie that helped but she had to sadly go back to the states ! I find the cam chat to fast I carnt keep up with it as I’m slow at typing !but try it all and enjoy ! |

Hi Mick.
I first posted to the forums 5 years ago. I took a few long breaks because I wasn't equipped to deal with it. I took it all to heart and actually tried to make a difference.
I'm back posting maybe 2 weeks. I got bored in real life and figured I would fuck around in here but I got hooked again |
