Sending random friends requests?
Do you ever get accepted by those you've never spoken with, had no correspondence with whatsoever? Those that have it on their profile but you don't read it or don't care whether you have but send anyway. Anyone ever had their request accepted?
Just interested. |

Never sent a random friend request, certainly not without asking first.
I get several a day from random guys and just delete without looking.
If they can't be arsed to talk first then I won't have any interest anyway |

I did until I realised it was creepy and immoral.
Now I just use the forums. I'll probably never get a friend request (probably don't deserve any), but for the moment the people here are nice to talk to, so I'm staying on fab for the convo and company. |

Don't be so negative. Keep chatting and give it time |

Thankyou, that is kind of you.
That said, I stand by my assertion that even if I went completely celibate, I'd still use this site for conversation. I have lost count of more "normal" chat sites that are full of angry rude people.
That fab is one of the few places I can have a civilised conversation during lockdown perhaps says more about the internet than me! |

I think this is to me?
The fact you've reflected on how you use the site and made positive changes based on how it affected others puts you above a lot of people. It can take time to get to know people but stick around enough and keep being friendly and you will make friends and I'm sure you'll get a friend request .
Haha that's funny! There can be plenty of angry people here too but also lots of great people and I'm glad you've found good conversations! |

"I'm pretty sure with friends only pictures in the bank, that most women could send 10 friend requests and get easily half accepted. Anyone care to trial it...? "
Same goes for men.
Only if they send them to men though! |

"I've never sent a random friend request.
Don’t I know it.
Just in case anyone was wondering....
that didn’t work either
I missed this . I'm guessing this means you want one Sam? "
Hang on, I’m struggling to type.
Still caressing my wounded pride!
Even worse....
I resorted to using an emoji for the sympathy too.
The shame. |

"If the profile's interesting I sometimes accept these friend requests, have a quick peek in private pics and then usually unfriend them again. Something to do on a rainy day x"
I do this
It states not to send them in my profile.
So if they send them, I wait till they are offline, have a nosey and unfriend.
Only when bored though, most the time I bulk delete.
It can also be fun to fab a friends only pic so they know I have been there |

I just leave random requests sitting there. They can't send then twice.
Maybe I'm weird but I'm less interested in seeing everyone's bits these days.
Ultimately what difference does it make? If I get to see some beautiful woman's fanny on a screen will my day become better? Its certainly not going to change my life.
Idk. Maybe I am weird |

That’s a good idea. Perhaps that’s the point of the requests; like distributing pamphlets through the letterbox. |
