Lots of double standards on here. Men are told to fill out a nice profile stateing what we are looking for etc, myself and many others have done this yet theres still many women who write fill in later or leave it blank. How are we supposed to know if we are a match with nothing to go on? I pointed this out to a woman earlier when i said i cant really get chatting if i have nothing to go on. So come on ladies who this applies too sort out your profile and sell yourself just like we do  |

I have 3 paragraphs on my profile and one of them says ‘I don’t reply to winks!’ and I still get women winking at me, so from this massive sample size, I think we can stop pretending this is a man thing, clearly people can’t be arsed to read. |

even with a write up on a profile (short and sweet, or biblical) née one reads them anyway 
you've done your bit.. you find a profile that hasn't.. just move on until you find one you feel you can gel with?

The day I joined, I had 200 messages before I’d added a single photo or more than a couple of lines of text. Women don’t need to “sell ourselves”, for most of us Fab life is about trying to keep the volume of messages down, not increasing it.
Oh, and I bet she liked your comment about her profile as much as I like all the “I’m not reading all that” type messages I get. |

I find it doesn't particularly matter what we put on our profiles, most DM's show very little sign they've read it.
Not saying all, just a vast majority. Makes it quite frustrating when you put in an effort, it never changes what shows in the DM's. So I for one don't really bother now. And mostly look at the forum's rather than the DM'S. |

From a guy's perspective, it's also annoying when you read it all, find things from it to chat about when messaging, including the code word that some set at the bottom. Then you're just deleted straight away into obscurity.
Sometimes it's just bad timing, however it does slowly get to you when you don't even get a courtesy no thank you email. Although the i do realise the ammount of messages women do get in their inbox aswell. That's just the fabswingers way lol |

I complete get that. Which I why I think its just better to see peoples interactions in the forums now. Im no longer site support so only see a fraction of my DMs, and mostly one liners of "wanna fuck" if we got fewer of them, we could see more of the decent and more relevant DMs.
It's one of the most frustrating part of fab for both sides I think. |

Probably similar with myself now, main reason i come on fab is for the forum. Get into some interesting topics lol. Also good for checking out club events when they are open again, great places to socialise with like minded people. |

As a couple after about 3 days of numerous messages from guys asking if they could join (despite saying im looking for girl-girl) i had to turn off messages from guys
So can't imagine how many single girls get, end of the day pretty obvious on here if there interested they'll come to you

Facts are women don't need to sell themselves on fab, statistics are on the females side, which says that its the men who have to stand out from the rest to be noticed...
Always amazes me when this isint remembered, its fab people, get a grip n enjoy the journey, n remember to keep your hands in at all times it will get bumpy |

Women don't need to write a good profile to get loads of messages, but sure;y a good profile is the absolute best way to help yourself easily filter out the good messages from the shit ones?
We get some occasional good messages that don't take anything in our profile particularly into account, however most good ones absolutely do. None of the shit ones do.
Does a bare profile from a woman after meets often just imply she has no real standards and doesn't care who messages them? |

I created a blank profile with no pictures or text so I could just have a look around before I set it up properly. I ended up deleting tgat whole profile and starting again with this one as I got so many messages. To a completely blank profile  . |

I think it's definitely a bit of this. I've had 1 pic and "fill in later' as text and got nearly 200 messages in under 12 hours.

To be honest if someone has a vagina that seems to qualify them as a match for a large percentage of men on here so the will fill in later profiles work ok for them.

The "fill in later" I kind of get. That bit ain't necessarily easy especially if you're new to the site. Some may browse for a while, view other profiles to get a better feel for what they should put in their own. |

From my experience, men rarely read profiles. Whereas women do read them, and use them to decide whether to engage with someone. So for a man, it's time well spent to write a good bio. Maybe some women decide it's not worth the effort as it'll never get read? |
