Hi fabsters,

The lawn cutting season is more or less here, but please resist for as long as possible, as dandelions and buttercups are the first food source for the bee's after coming out of hibernation.

We need the bee's!

This is unfortunately true for urban areas, planting crocuses provides a better source of first pollen which is what we have in rural areas, that mixed with tree pollen make a delightful honey taste

and when the bees have done with them, eat them ..the dandelions not the bees!

And don't forget dandelions can act as a diuretic.

......I feel your pain! But actually, wasps are voracious predators of aphids, greenfly, blackfly and all sorts of crop destroyers! X
