Various reasons, the obvious being sex...then there is the distraction that fab can offer,

Loneliness if I'm honest. I'm not long out of a controlling relationship that took me away from friends and family with not much time to make new ones. It feels like I've been in a lockdown for 8 years so I'm hoping to find friendship as well as the obvious here. Like I said to someone yesterday, I'd love to have a conversation that's not about lego ninjago or scooby doo.

Honestly OP I don't know. I'm half tempted to delete my account most of the time but I know I'll come crawling back.

I definitely feel like a fraud since I'm not really looking to meet and sex with a complete stranger frightens me to be honest.

I think virtually everyone is here out of choice.

When people ask the question ‘why are you here?’ I think they more often mean ‘what do you want (or get) from being on here?’ I.e. why do you you choose to be here? What do you get out of it? Or what are you hoping for?

My answer to this is different now to what it was a few years ago .

A few years ago before discovering the forums I was just another guy trying , and failing to get laid .

Since I've discovered the forums its now a way of life , and even more so in the past year or so !!

I now have true friends on here and value that as much as sexy time . The forum has changed my view on what I want out of fab and my experience of fab is far richer for it
