I've been asked this a fair bit recently and my answer is always the same.. I choose to be.

Various reasons, the obvious being sex...then there is the distraction that fab can offer,
Connecting to like minded ppl, the potential of that going into more such as a friendship.
Having a mix of fun n depth on the forums, there is a good balance, I enjoy reading ppls opinions, thoughts and perspective on things, which I can learn from...
Ooh and also to perve in true ninja Style

For fun, friends, forum foolery, humourous postings, chat, conversations, forum games, to engage with nice people (though after this weekend I'm having my doubts) to build up a rapport and a connection and to pass the time amongst a fun and friendly community.

I didn’t have much say in the matter, one minute it was an infinity of nothingness the next I’m on this rock hurtling through space, most of which makes no sense to me. But I’ll do the best I can till it passes. |

I’m not too sure anymore if I’m honest.
I like to post my pics and chat to friends. Not gonna lie I do like the attention it brings.
But I’m not actually using it for what I used to.
I’m excited for socials and clubs again. But I’m not sure if I will as regular as I used to.
Fab has opened my eyes to many good things and some very scary people.
It definitely allows the crazy to come across sane. And pretend that they are something they are not. It’s bloody scary and even more so when this comes into real life. Hence why I will never trust like I did before. |

For me to chat with like minded people about things that I can’t chat with my vanilla friends about as they don’t get it. If it ends up in meeting up for a social then great, more then that is icing on the cake.

Loneliness if I'm honest. I'm not long out of a controlling relationship that took me away from friends and family with not much time to make new ones. It feels like I've been in a lockdown for 8 years so I'm hoping to find friendship as well as the obvious here. Like I said to someone yesterday, I'd love to have a conversation that's not about lego ninjago or scooby doo. |

I relate to this.
Fab definitely was bad for me when I had less energy to deal with mental health issues.
Nasty people, rejection, outting scares, std scares, dealing with other people's mental health ... there is a long list of why we were gone for a year and why my wife is reluctant to engage again. |

Honestly OP I don't know. I'm half tempted to delete my account most of the time but I know I'll come crawling back.
I definitely feel like a fraud since I'm not really looking to meet and sex with a complete stranger frightens me to be honest.
I like the interactive social side I suppose. And it's nice to have a community to share my photos with since I enjoy taking them. |

When people ask the question ‘why are you here?’ I think they more often mean ‘what do you want (or get) from being on here?’ I.e. why do you you choose to be here? What do you get out of it? Or what are you hoping for? |

Now then...
My answer to this is different now to what it was a few years ago .
A few years ago before discovering the forums I was just another guy trying , and failing to get laid .
Since I've discovered the forums its now a way of life , and even more so in the past year or so !!
I now have true friends on here and value that as much as sexy time . The forum has changed my view on what I want out of fab and my experience of fab is far richer for it |
