Now that the majority of folks have finished our initial choice of Matt Haigs The Midnight Library, it’s time to choose the title for the next month.
I know that several people have offered different opinions as to how to choose the next title, however I think that individual choices cause their own problems.
I’m open to choosing according to genre, I am concerned that this might limit choices and interest though.
Input please folks |

"Sounds like they need a Terry Pratchett with witches, wizards, vampires and other
He’s my favourite author, so I’d be good with that!
I’d be happy to revisit one of the early ones"
Wyrd Sisters was the very first one I read as a teenager |

"Happy to go with the flow. The good thing with book clubs is opening up to something you may not otherwise have read! "
I agree. Sci-fi and fantasy are my genre of choice, so I’m going to be hard pushed for a new title but I don’t mind rereading this time around.
What are people’s thoughts on fantasy for the genre choice? |

Happy with fantasy, although maybe not one of the big door stop numbers. An interesting riff on the genre could be Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James. Fantasy grounded in African mythology by a Booker prize winning author... |

I love them all - I've got Snuff (which I think was the last one he published) but can't bring myself to read it
Also have a soft spot for the Wee Free Men |

I have read quite a few of his books from years back.
I don't know why I stopped reading them. |

"TTTTTEEEEAAAAAAAA have you abandoned this?!?!? "
Not abandoned. Just hiatus.
I’m poooooooorly, everything is green...
I’m happy to go with genre or to stick with popular choice.
If necessary I can make an executive decision |

"I’m thinking that if people want to go with fantasy, then reading one of Mr Pratchett’s works would be a great idea.
We can pick from;
The colour of Magic
Wyrd sisters
Mort
Guards Guards
..."
Have all of them, and not read for ages ... just say which one! |

The colour of magic appears to be the 1st in the disc world series although can be read in any order.
If okay shall we go with this one? I have just ordered it as someone needs to make a decision lol |
