Am staying away at the mo, near a river and a farm and it's like one of the biblical plagues!
We started a competiton amongst the kids to see who could swat the most, but they gave up counting after 263

BAsically its cos of the amount of rain creating flood plains which are the perfect breeding grounds for flys and mosquitoes, then we get a bit of sunshine or warmth and that brings them out in the millions !!
Its aright royal pain but then im lucky as i dont get bitten lol, there are electric fly swats you can buy which are great fun and most satisfying when you hear the zap of hitting a decent size fly lol  |

Siren's getting naffed off with them too. Can't say they bother me that much as I just open a window and they eventually fly out. It's the little tiny bugs that have invaded our kitchen that's pissing me off. I think they're nesting in our money plant so that's off out to the garden later!  |

I try that with a bit of shoooo-ing from a magazine, but I think they just laugh at me and fly n the opposite direction just to get me to do the shooooo dance more  |

Slugs, snails, flies, flying ants, creepy crawlies of all sorts........ it's a jungle out there, (still the swallows in the outhouse are having bumper feasts).
Driving me demented every time I open a window and once they start to mow the barley field behind my house I'll be inundated with even more crawling things....eugh. |

i havent had many as many flies this year but,snails huge things everywhere,i have to pick them off every night and take them outside my garden but the buggers just keep comin back,cant bear to kill them though |
