Sparse profiles.
I feel a profile is a presentation of one's self, thoughts, feelings, motivations, likes, dislikes, and essentially a snapshot at that moment in time. It's a chance to really make an effort and come across as a real person(s) to be valued and hopefully appreciated.
Since the purpose of Fab is to provide a platform for consenting adults to meet other consenting adults, profiles that say little more than "Hi, we'd like to meet another couple for fun times" seem at the very least superfluous, and at the most unimaginative and uninspiring.
Profiles that have opinions (whether we agree with them or not) are alive and real. They denote passion and thought, and people who are not afraid to say what they want.
I had over 100 CV's to read the other day. Only 1 included a cover letter going in to great detail about the applicant and their specific fit to the company.
The other CV's all looked identical, just the names, DOB's, addresses and qualifications/prior experience varied.
But the cover letter applicant ? I felt I knew them before even wanting to meet them. They made the cut.
That's why profiles are important. IMHO

Spelling mistakes

Crude photography... We are not prudes but prefer photos with a hint of tease and style.
Messy backgrounds (or kids stuff in view).

100s of verifications (there is definitely a sweet spot when the number becomes too many)
