At least as a fellow Scot, I fully recognise the spelling of your name being correct, not like the other Sassenachs on here! 
However, you are one of hundreds of single guys on here and in your geographical region too, so your Profile has to stand out. In short, you have to "sell" yourself.
Your Profile is way too short. Invest some time checking your spelling; yes, the "spelling Police" on here will moan about this, but with the spelling errors in your Profile, it doesn't exactly promote your profile well.
Ditch the cock pics to your Private photos and show a face pic instead.
You have to expand your Profile a bit more, to give potential meets something to work on.
Plus get into the Forums, and if at all possible, get to clubs in your locality or region.
It is all a case of getting yourself noticed!

Well thank you for that i am a nice guy very easy going personality, Mmm i did have that on my profile and a few people mostly women seemed to think that ment i was buysexual and maybe thats why i wasnt get to menny girls interested in me  How the hell does easy going going personality translate into dont mind being shaged by a man lol, there was me thinking it just ment a little bit on the quiet side not the pushy in your face type, oh well you live and learn pmsl |

You can't have it both ways.
If the forum 'borg' is being understanding and sympathetic to newbies then surely it should be a good thing.
Just saying 'wait, wait, the abuse will start soon' is baiting people - isn't that what you don't like?
The guy asked a genuine question and got genuine replies. Be happy with that.

A decent selection of pics, don't worry about a face pic in your public pics as long as you have one available to send if asked.
The blurb is very short, doesn't say much about what you are looking for. And it does include one of my pet peeves - just ask! . A profile is there so that we don't have to ask. Even if you don't think it's saying much the blurb can give you an idea about someone's personality. Yours is currently suggesting you can't be bothered!
Even though your response to this thread suggests you can.
If your target audience is getting 25, 50 or more messages a day why will they start asking lots of questions if they can simply move on to someone else who has told them more already?
Oh, and general bit of advice (though it's not a criticism cos I haven't noticed any) run the spell check over your blurb when you've written it! If people do get lots of messages this can be a decider between.three or four similar profiles if you only have time to arrange one meet.

No, I do not believe that was harsh (nor was it meant to be) considering that on VERY similar threads asking very similar questions by other single guys, after 9 hours 'thread life' we have all seen better thought out profiles being literally 'assassinated' - usually with 'comments/observations' which are along broadly similar lines.
Gaz HAS got off lightly at this point in time (maybe it's because it's the summer hols????!!), but at least you have taken the trouble to offer him a sound, constructive critique which, if he takes it in the right vein, will help him.

I have noticed though, that a post suggesting that the forum has been kind usually tempts both fate and the mischievous and starts.the onslaught of devils advocates.
Its something I've noticed when with children too. If you make a comment like 'I do like it when you all get on' the minute the words leave your mouth you should batten down the hatches and prepare for the shelling to start!  |

It's me again ha ha, thanks for the advice i do feel a bit wiser for it hopefully I can put it to good use, sounds like a few off you expected the thread to get a lot off abusive replies ha ha, I was expecting a few arse comments I must admit lol. Oh and yes I do know my spelling is bad :-$ but bit late in life to worry to much about that, the way I see it I get close enough that you know what it was meant to be pmsl
