Elon Musk. To be fair, he just says that it is highly probable, given that the rate of AI and technological advancements is exponentially better and quicker than the rate of evolution of the human brain. So, the chances of a computer system already being far more intelligently superior than us, and finding a way to trick us in to thinking we’re alive, when really we are being farmed, Matrix style, and living in a simulation, are incredibly high.
Besides, who would actually, knowingly, and voluntarily live in such a dump of a city like we do? There has got to be some external force keeping us here.  |
