My dog has just pulled her bed out of her kennel on to the lawn and basically ripped it to bits so I now have white fluffy filling stuff blowing all over the lawn! She's not a puppy but occasionally goes in to these mad psychotic states. Anyone else have pets with mental issues? |

My lab used to have separation anxiety and one day I made the mistake of not putting him in his comfort cage and came back to the carpets ripped up and the wires for the internet ripped from the walls. I wasn't happy.
Maybe your doggy is trying to tell you something? |

"My dog rips up his bed once he deems it time for a new one
That's not being a twat that's just clever !"
It's being a twat, I have two dogs between them they have 6 beds at any one time, and once he deems one dirty or to old its destroyed to make it clear it needs replacing, wouldn't mind but they spend most there time chilling on the sofa they just spoilt |

"Mines always after the post have to get it before he does he’s a rescue dog he’s got issues been left alone but I love him to bits "
We have a metal box on the back of the post box in the frontdoor for that very reason, but now he uses the metal box to scare the post man instead,so we now have a parcel box on the outside of the house |

" that made me laugh OP
I wish I had a dog
Maybe she's hormonal - I have moments where I want to rip up my bed "
That's fine but you will also have to master the skill of looking completely innocent afterwards !! |

Yeah mine, he thinks he owns the whole Estate. Gas Man just went to next door, you’d swear our house was being invaded the way he kicked off.
You can almost hear him saying “get lost, this is my patch and you’re too bloody close, now do one before I jump the fence and bite your arse” |

Didn’t take it outside but I bought her a new bed, so comfy and the next day I found it in pieces.
She likes her old bed, lives to hide things in there.
She’s 15 months |

That's the annoying thing. Mine is well trained / obedient, very calm never barks or shows any sign of aggressive behaviour but every now and then............... |

My cat is called Cranky Sam for a reason.
Loves his fusses and purposefully headbutts to give love but the second he’s had enough... he mounts a lunging bite attack!!
It’s true what they say... cats don’t have owners they have servants |

I have a cat, nuff said really. She is bi polar, scrats the carpet when I'm not paying her enough attention and ignores me when I do. She likes to sleep in the middle of my bed but only when I'm in it. She says thank you by showing me her arse and when she is especially greatful she puts it my face. She allows me to feed her and clean her litter. She was an indoor cat until she jumped out of the bedroom window. Been an idiot I bought a catflap and paid for it installing in the back door and now she uses it as a platform to demand I open the door to let her out. You think your dog is a twat? |

"Could just be a twat
I think this is the correct diagnosis!! "
But were you ignoring your dog? Did you ignore him when he brought a toy to you several times and you turned your back? Children and pets learn that bad behaviour equals attention. |
