Hi guys!!
Wow, can't believe it is April already
Is anyone still getting their daily steps in??
I can't wait for the gym to open, but I've really enjoyed walking - I've found so many places that I didn't even know were on my doorstep.. I might even walk to and from the gym when it reopens
Post your progress.... Get motivated, share your highs + lows! |

"My steps really vary during the week depending on work and family. Some days I'll get 20,000 easy others I struggle to get 6,000
I really notice the days I don't get as many I actually feel more lethargic. Longer days now though means I can get out properly after work "
Wow that's really good... Is that through work, or walking the dog??
I am loving the longer days |

Walking my dog - I love getting out into the forests with him and tramping about. The longer days at work where I'm chained to the laptop on Teams calls/training are the worst days - they drain the soul from you!! |

"I'm back with you on Monday hopefully. Under the weather.
Me too. I’ll do my best, but I’m not hopeful.
You did really well in March "

Although I've been threatening to go for a walk I can't seem to get out of the door.
I'm working from home and hardly leave the house.
Then I feel more unmotivated because I didn't make it.
Keep telling myself... get off your arse! |

Annabelle that was me last month! Then I joined the fab steps challenge and it was enough motivation to get me out and about.. I decided to try and walk 5km per day.. Once you get going it's relatively easy |

I walk 3 to 3 and a half miles every lunchtime.
I've no idea what that is in steps, it's whatever I can fit into an hour.
I managed an 8 mile walk the past weekend....loved it...just get out and push the boundaries |

Good on you
Tomorrow I'm going to take a walk just to the local shop during lunchtime.
I'll go the long way round and hopefully a few days o f doing that will inspire me to walk further. Build it up... a little walk is better than no walk eh!
I'm glad it worked for you..I'll think of this thread as I throw myself out the door

According to Google... 3-3.5 miles is roughly equivalent of 7-7.5k steps |

It's only around 4/5k a day back in Sept Oct and Nov I was doing 285k to 303k a month. I just used to walk most places and leave the car at home. But I've gone lazy with the cold weather |

I'm trying to run a mile a day, not sure how many steps that is but I usually try and get out for a walk too in the evening just to get outside
I really should set up my fitbit but I'm so bad at remembering it hehe
Everyone is doing so amazing, well done |

I only do 5 miles a day before work. No idea how many steps that is but it takes me about 1 1/2 hours over difficult terrain so I'm guessing not that many if some of you are walking 2.5 hours a day plus!! |

One day at a time, keep making the choice to go out and do it and it will soon become habit. |

5 miles is around 8km, which is around 10-11k steps i think, so you are pretty much on track ! |

"So far I’m on 14,000 steps
Today? I've managed 11.5k so far
Yes, sorry today, I just looked at my 12 month total, it’s 3,212,787
"
I was surprised at that too, but running helps up that number |
