This is a very rare condition called denimism and normally caused by washing new jeans and then wearing them before going to bed. You will find that Father Abraham's little blue friends are not to blame |

"I don't wear jeans.
A similarly overdyed fabric, then.
Or shampoo. "
My pillow cases have been unaffected. I'm not wearing anything new, I haven't really bought anything in a year. I will be buying new cotton fitted sheets when the shops open next week.

I like hammocks. Apart from getting in and out of them.

Very odd. My jeans actually made me ill. The dye got into my hands (blue) and my legs (blue) and I felt really, er, *off colour* until I worked out what it was, and binned them!
Good luck sorting it out. I guess moisturiser or fabric treatment are the only other possibilities. |

"When I was a young teenager my mum bought me new blue bedsheets. I looked seriously ill for a week! "
Your sheets turned you blue?
Actually, I could probably live with that better than my sheets turning blue. |

"Must be a blue blood then!Check your pedigree and see if there's any Windsors in your blood line "
I'm fairly certain I've never had any Windsor in me, although there was that chap who wore his tie in a Windsor knot.

I did wonder if it might be my moisturiser but why now and not in all the years before?

"I think I may be turning into a Smurf.
My skin is dying my sheets and other things blue. And it won't come out.
Has anyone else experienced Smurfism?
"
There is a condition that has something to do with your body oil and sweat glands that can cause your skin to dye your clothes or bedding whilst you sleep.
Can't remember what its called but I'd see the doctor if you can. |

Thanks. I'll see what I can find out. My body hasn't been behaving well for a little while.

Were your dreams as blue as the Smurfettes?
"
Very much so. It was quite nice |
