As the years pass, are you changing the age filters on your profile? (Going 1 yr up on min/max)
Or (now I think of it) is anyone changing their age preference regularly for other reasons?
Just wondered. |

Nope. I have toyed with upping my lower age filter for men to late thirties but then I've realised that will have a knock on effect on the women's filters so I'm leaving them be.
I probably won't be going higher than 60 any time soon. |

Yes, fab changed my perception of guys a lot younger than me and absolutely put me off talking to guys older than me online!
Have an age range that I'm comfortable with now and do raise it every year ...
In life (face to face) I'm not bothered by anyone's age, don't even think about it to be honest |

I didn’t even know what mine was. After a check, I will keep it keep
I clearly don't review it, it doesn’t occur to me but given that so many tell fibs about how old they are, there’s no point in changing it |

We adjust ours after we both have our birthday. The max age is always high, but the lower is the consideration! I wouldn’t go near a lady that was only a few years older than my daughter, so it changes for that reason. Miss PC x |

I do raise the lower age filter every year as my son is 31 & I'm not interested in meeting anyone in his age group but I hadn't changed my older age filter since joining, decided to change it since coming back last weekend & been chatting to so lovely gentlemen so I'm glad I did |

"I’m considering lowering my upper age limit, I like older men, a lot, but I tend to get some really strange messages and it puts me off"
If I let strange messages put me off anything on fab,...I wouldn’t log on. |

My preferences don’t change just because my age does, so no I don’t move my limits upwards each year. I might have to consider it when I get older than my upper limit, but I’ll see how I feel at the time.
I had to raise my lower age limit from 25 to 28 because of the gross and disrespectful messages I was getting from men in that age range. I don’t really want to raise it any further because it would exclude women as well. |

I change my age filters as i get older. I don't want to meet guys that are anywhere near my childrens ages.
I don't always alter the upper age limit though as i find that men near my upper age limit sometimes appear to have aged badly, or are telling a lie about their age !! |

Mine vary each way by a couple of years depending on what kind of messages I get.
Don't really want to entertain anyone closer to my sons age than mine.
At the moment I don't want to consider anyone who's that much older than me.
But that's always subject to change! |

I have experimented and happy with current brackets. Younger ones often don't get my old soul.
Don't forget in the world of information manipulation...age isn't often true on here. |

I think we sometimes restrict our minds on the issue of age.
People of all ages can act immature, some wiser than their years.
Only through talking to them can we really decide if someone is right for us.
Communication is the key.

I have screamed this fact often. "
I'm just assuming anyone around 40 plus might potentially be 5 years older or more. Maybe a decade if they think people won't look closely. |

For me it's not just about them acting immature or wiser, i find it offputting knowing they are close to my childrens age or my (dead!!) parents age. |

Mine are very specific.
I don’t understand how people can have up to 99 years or as young as 18/21
Either they couldn’t be bothered changing the filter or they would.... |

This... perceptions change and it’s not consistent with me either, I have adjusted them up and down at different times too. |

Haven't changed my filters that much but can see myself upping my lower age limit after my next birthday.
I did also notice that I fit in a lot more ranges after I turned 25 |

" For my it's not simply about acting mature ot immature, it's simply is, i seem to have a better connetion with women closer to my age or on the upper scale. |

Would I what?
Speak to someone that’s between the ages of 21 to 99? Of course I would.
Messages on here and who I would have conversations with doesn’t reflect the ages of people who I think I might fancy meeting up with for a chat. Does that make sense?
I find it funny when I ask why people would meet a 45 yr old, but not 46. Why wouldn’t you?

Although I have not a particularly wide age limit, if someone came along along that was outside those limits and I found them attractive, could hold a conversation and there was a connection. I wouldn't say no. |
