"None of it. You can't believe a liar.
Thank you!
Its a pet peeve of mine too. Consider it a lucky escape. If someone won't respect boundaries at the start, it doesn't bode well."
Ditto! |

"Welcome to social media life... surprised it’s taken you this long to realise people can be whoever or whatever they want to be"
Not very good at it if they've got all 3 on the same profile though are they |

I think you did well to spot the lie.
I'm not sure I would have.
At times I feel empathy for the people who feel desperate enough to get a message through that they would resort to this.
But I'm probably giving them too much credit. It's a form of disrespect. |

"We know people fib about their age. It happens so much "
The woman who popped our non monogamy cherry lied about her age on her profile but told us the truth straight away. So I'm not sure why she bothered lying in the first place |

Fab is the Argos catalogue of life, one peruses the pictures and questions how they have lived so long without that thing in their life, the dreams build and we make lists, stunned by the inviting images of things we must have.
Then we metaphorically fill out some numbers and get sent to some random counter, where we pay with our soul for that most longed for thing.
We are given a “promise ticket” and get told to wait near the counter where some poor unfortunate dishes out our dreams, you look around at all the other hungry “dreamers” and know that soon you will be sated.....
....then your number is called and a rather battered looking, non-descript, plain old cardboard box lurches down the conveyer and is slammed down on the counter in front of you. You can’t see your dream but can hear it whispering from within its mamilla coloured packaging, promises, oh such promises, you ignore the portent it’s packaging brings....
.... you clutch your dream to your chest as you run home, promise so close to be fulfilled, on getting home, you tear at the packaging and release your dream and Lo! You spend the next 3hrs comparing it to the picture in the catalogue and scratching your head....
Metaphorically speaking, of course... |

Calderdale innit |
If they've lied about their age, it would go no further as I wouldn't trust anything else they say.
Like the bloke who messaged me, under 30, so I say thanks but too young for me, suddenly he's 31 but can't change it, yeah right. |

Ha ha vanity perhaps is one reason, bypassing age filters no doubt another.
I think if you keep yourself well presented, attend socials (obviously not at the moment) then the age may become irrelevant because people may like your company and overlook the age filters they may have.
I mean come on if Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Idris Elber and George Clooney were on here, they wouldn’t get around age filters. However if they turned up at your local Fab social how many ladies would say ‘sorry lads only meet under 45’s’ lol
Only my humble opinion so no slight intended, peace and love |

I had someone message me who was too young for me to be comfortable. I said so, only for him to respond that he was actually 10 years older but he'd created a new account with a fake age just to get round someone's filters.
I laughed, he laughed, I blocked, we both laughed some more, I set up age filters. It was a wild ride. |
