Just finished the book, thought part two was a massive let down at the end! What did you guys make of it?

Book Two doesn't come anywhere near Book One, I bought the boxed DVD set that had noth books and the 1975 film, which was also a bit of a let down tbh. You just can't supplant the power of the imagination, it seems.
