I've got many a happy memory of these fun little restaurants.
From the jolly little man pointing into his mouth to the little lolly you got when you left - it had everything!
Which was your favourite though? I'll always have a soft spot for the one at Markham Moor but the one at Thirsk on the A168 was a cracker too.
Anyone mentioning the Trusthouse Forte rip off Little Chef will be instantly blocked. |

Yes, many memories of stopping in a Happy Eater on the way to the west country.
Seems we only want to stop for coffee or microwaved food today; miss sitting down and getting food on a plate with a knive and fork and the checquered tablecloths, banana long boats..... |

I don’t remember Happy Eaters but do remember the one that shouldn’t be named
Both were owned and run by the same company for 10 years, until HE was bought by another company and they decided to change them all into the one that shall not be named. |
