cooking both breakfast and dinner. They can be pretty outstanding or just mediocre..
Dinner tonight I made leek & mushroom gratin, it was exceptional (or so I thought)
What meal do you cook that you deem truly exceptional? |

I can't cook, but I enjoy breakfast foods like a salmon and cream cheese bagel or French toast with syrup, strawberries, whipped cream and hazelnuts on top |

I once cooked for friends (I don't do it very often) and did a choice of pork in stilton sauce, or minted lamb shank, brussel sprouts in garlic and butter with crispy bacon, buttery carrots and roast potatoes.
Dessert was homemade cornflake tart.
They said what an absolutely beautiful meal it was so I happily accepted the compliment. |

Hmmm. Anything Italian or featuring cheese.
My favourite ever meal to cook is steak with all the accompaniments because my fiancé's face does this and I forget my feminist ways for a minute and think yep. Cooking for a man is awesome, I could do it every day for the rest of my life. |

I'm not very good with normal food, but can make good cakes, so I've been told. Black forest gateau, lemon drizzle and triple layer carrot cake are my faves.
I can make a good Yorkshire pudding so my best effort is toad in the hole, and a veggie version I tried with veggie sausage, cara_elised onions and parsnip mash with home made onion gravy as a dipping sauce.

Macaroni cheese with sauce made from 3 different cheeses, red Leicester and a Vintage Cheddar a must.
I always fry off bacon and mushrooms to add to it mix it in with broccoli, oven proof dish with more cheese and breadcrumbs over the top, served with a focaccia bread it's lush |

Moroccan style muscles cooked in a chili, tomato, garlic sauce. Loads of black pepper and coriander. Serve with crusty bread and a white wine so dry it'll try to suck your fillings out.

I absolutely love cooking and experimenting. I don't use cheat stuff, always from scratch. I can pretty much make anything well. My Lancashire hot pot is always delicious but my best dishes are probably the curries which sometimes take 2 days to make. |

I love cooking and baking. I learned from my grandmothers. I started to cook when I was 7 yo. I have my own hand written recipe book, happy to cook for you if you like. |

I wouldn't say I'm a good cook, but I'm good at assembling food on a plate so it looks nice
People seem to ask for my mash though
It just tastes better than standard mash cos it's 80% Lurpak |
