No. I've simply got a long memory and the term Ultra Violence was used in 'A Clockwork Orange' A film I found very disturbing, especially when youths in the cinema audience guffawed at the violence portrayed.
Please don't make assumptions (even though I pretended to make them over IR) about my attitude to violence. I suspect that Anthony Burgess was also playing on the term 'Ultra Violet' which I am sure you know is at the opposite end of the spectrum to Infra Red.
I also suspect that the other respondent was making a similar jest. |
