I swear down it looks like I've been electrocuted or something!

The 'haircut' that I got just made it worse too so now my sides are caved in but the fringe adds like 2" to my height

I’m not teasing.

I’ve heard from from people at work that all our local barber shops are booked solid for the week when they open and have hiked the prices by around £5.

Surprisingly mine is OK. Touched up the roots and chopped the fringe myself. No need for me to rush to a hairdressers when they open. Maybe a bit too long but easy to tie back.

I think I have been exceptionally lucky. My hair is curly so I can go at with a pair of scissors and you can’t really tell. Cut 4 inches off in October so not too bad. In fairness though my hairdresser visits have been becoming less and less frequent, I think I’m on about once a year now.

I'm using the time when I'm seeing less people to get used to/adapt the curly girl method. I don't dare cut my own hair though. (I'm wavy not curly)

My hair was looking more like Boris style every day, so I shaved it down to a grade 5, which definitely took a lot of getting used to. It's been growing steadily and now at a length that I quite like .

I know exactly what you mean! I lean on it, get it caught in my bra when putting it on or when I get in the car it gets all trapped between me and the seat and I have to pull it out so I can actually move my head! I can't wait to get it cut!
