I can't answer the first question, but on balance I think the toffee sweets are better. Always a treat when you find a forgotten one in your pocket

Thought of the cakes, but not a fan. Local curry takeaway used to put 2 of the Cadbury ones in the bag, had to eat them first whilst they were still warm and gooey
