trouble most likely, or creating it :)

Has anyone been following her recent eruptions. Tonight's is simply stunning and she has erupted from a new fissure tonight. Think in total 3 of the 5 craters are active this evening.

I'm not sure if links to you tube are allowed but if you search for live etna stream there are a few on you tube.

Also have Bob on another screen( okay its not really called bob but for some reason on all the volcano chat forums they are calling the bee volcano Bob for now...) spectacular for other reasons.

I so wish I could fly out to see both of these beautiful volcanoes right now

Perhaps Bjork will come out of retirement to make a video.

I read that in the 4 weeks before the icelandic volcano erupted, they had over 40,000 earthquakes. Some locals even had motion sickness symptoms!

Yeh they are spectacular, although over due. Someone predicted Vesuvius was going to blow big time a couple weeks of years ago but nothing happened.

Would love to see them for real.

Maybe a super volcano will go too.

Had anyone been following this and seen all the new fissures. It's been amazing to watch Bob and Flo... and the other cones

..these ones wont have been responsible and due to the nature of the eruption its unlikely to cause massive disruption. But yes I remember the eruption your talking about. Volcano under a glacier meant a very explosive eruption.

This is a fissure eruption and the plume is coming straight from the mantle and not siting in a lava chamber building pressure for ages... just a crack to the earth's core and lots of magma pouring out.

Very interesting though
