"Got to say my motivation to workout has been lacking this lockdown.... Its gonna hurt when they gyms reopen
I could barely walk after they opened after the first lockdown . I went easy too . "
I'm also sad that my deaflift Fridays coach has moved to Finland, although the coach who owns they gym is ace I just really really enjoyed deadlift Fridays with Alice!
I really should spend some time working on my upper body and core before they gyms open. |

I love the gym massively missed it this last year plus shoulder injury thrown in...back in the game though!
Love weights...
Ballet barre is a killer but amazing
Yoga
Tabata too...
It’s the feeling stronger seeing results...lifting more...more reps... |

"I look like Geoff Capes, does that count?
Do you keep budgies ?
Not yet. I’m eyeing up a wood pidgeon though that lingers too long in my garden."
I’m trying to coooo down the dove from above. |

I think we are all going to be like jelly especially after leg day! Yeah that’s a good idea, I’m sure you’ll be back into the groove of it in no time though! |

I can't wait to get back to the gym when I can, shift the weight I regained after leg surgery and shoulder injury and get toning the flabby bits up again.
I'm a weights and core girl can't abide cardio |

I’ve got super strong legs. Full stack 400lb on the leg press and 160kg on the hack squat. Upper body isn’t bad, but not as strong as my legs.
Having said that, I haven’t trained for a year. So probably not at that currently. |

Not gym bunny, hate gyms..i get bored.
My strength comes from just a physical life, kids, nartial arts, horses (work & hobby), dancing, mechanics & metal fabs.
Upper body strength is limited as in cant do push/pull ups..good grip though.
Small bales 25kg, feed bags 10-15kg, 50kg haynets, big bales 1t etc (can move/flip them by self), cars can pull/push, cold bend 6mm with couple of hits.
I have more problems with things being too awkward due to size than the weights. |

I hope so .. Are you going to virtually bench me??
Thinking 60/80/80/60...for first couple of times and build back to 80/90/100/80 over first 3 weeks.. Then aiming for 100/150/170/100 in May ? |

I'll wheel in to this thread
I skip leg day every single time but lift and use my shoulders to do what most people do with their quads and glutes (locomotion).
I've started horse riding again to try and get some core strength back. Having to work out WTF to do with my left side means my core is working overtime so got to be careful. I don't want to undo my vag surgery or make my other prolapse worse |

"Haven’t trained for a long time for obvious reasons, but when I was 40 I had a 105kg squat and 130kg deadlift "
I tried for 130kg deadlift last year and just missed it. So gutting watching that video knowing I was so bloody close!
Really want to improve my squat from 125kg this year but will have to see how much I've lost over the last 6 months.
Bench is always the weakest at 72.5kg |

Lance Strongman? "
I’ve not slept with him personally but I imagine he’d have no trouble pinning me down |

"I would love to get into lifting but will definitely need to get a PT to do it with me as I know I'm terrible at maintaining my posture so need someone to keep me right.
"
a corset could help to get you in the habit of posture as it stops you from bending your back to lift. also reminds you to roll your shoulders into position to make it more comfortable. just don't do it too tight so you can still breathe, since its not a look pretty purpose.
I grew up getting posture instilled due to ballet, horses & cadets along side lifting bales, shit, people & feed etc, rarely slouch as a result. |

Equine therapy is great!
are you going to a RDA? they are really good both with calm horses and teachers they should help lots, a brace might help prevent that, see if there is one you can get at least whilst you build some muscle back up, physio should know.
I'm looking to go to my local to volunteer hopefully teaching and stable work again. |

It's not RDA but it's designed for disabled people yes. That's why we've been allowed to ride outdoors before this week (disability exemption). I'm a very experienced rider, just as an able bodied person. I started out on a nice ploddy cob but graduated to a horse that actually needs riding this week. I just need to relearn some things to compensate for my weak left side. It's good fun and my daughter wants to join in now too, which is great and might even get my son back in the saddle. |

I thought that, our's says its opened by haven't replied to my email, haven't phoned mind. adhd is classied as a disability much as I hate that term.
good, I'm glad your enjoying it, I'll be taking my daughter too, she's also adhd + being tested for more so it'll do her good.
