Batley School - "inactive" police
Anyone else see the pattern emerging? The police is a body required to uphold and enforce law, but instead it's become a politically driven and inconsistent body. |

From what I’ve been told by someone that was there was that the vigil went on all day with social distancing and minimum crowds and the police stood and watched.
Later on in the night crowds formed and the police tried to move things along and arrests were made.
It all seems fair to me and I think people are cherry picking videos to prove their point that the police were heavy handed.
Plus in my own opinion a vigil should be treated different from a protest. Protests are here to make political statement and they’re an important part of a democracy. Vigils are just as important but they serve a different purpose. |
