Can we just get a reel of ladies who would chuckle at 5 push ups, or 5 squats... being a challenge...

I am totally baffled today.

I reckon I tinkle 5 times a day. I ain't a standy-uppy piss haver. That's 5 right there without even thinking.

Then there's all the stuff I drop on the floor that I squat to pick up.

Then there's all the times I don't use my granny chair to lower me into position, even though it's a giggle

But yeah, 5 proper squats. That's not a challenge. I am however.... incredibly lazy.

It'd be fucking hilarious watching me try to do it, tbh. However I challenge everyone to beat me on uphill wheelchairing, wheelchair manoeuvring whilst dribbling a basketball or pushing over the countryside terrain. I win

Oh just another thread that apparently women can't do push ups, 5 squats should have us looking peachy keen instead and hula hooping is apparently only for men.

Always amusing to see guys shuffle off with their heads down when they lift more than them

Back when I used to train regularly my aim wasn’t to get slim or sexy, it was to make men cry when I walked into the weight room

Can’t wait til the gym reopens on April 12!!

I was doing squats and bench with one lady.

Group of lads pointing and generally laughing at her training with me.

Soon stopped when she was deadlifting 180kg for sets of 6 and benching 100kg for the same.

I can not do even one single push up. It's something my partner finds hilarious. I am being serious when I say that if you put a gun to my head and told me to do a push up or get shot in the head then I would die desperately trying.

I don't mind squats though.

Oh and in answer to your question....5 pushup is orobably doable. I worked my way up yo 10 during the first lock own

Squats I love (except front squats!). My heaviest set of 5 last year was 105kg which I'm pretty proud of

It wasn't a challenge, just a reminder for the lazier men to have a little bit of self respect and do a bit of exercise in the morning.

Find me one physician who says lazy people shouldn't bother exercising more.

Going now, not here for fights (unlike some)

I missed the thread where this one spawned from, but it did me chuckle, I’ve seen plenty of ‘strong’ lads who struggle to even run short distances or have limited cardio, or struggle to lift themselves up. They would often be the types to call weaker men ‘women’ or have a joke about their sexuality, their mindset and attitude just baffled my mind as poor cardio is not good for health. All about balance.

I would love to know what is a healthy gauge of what is ‘average’ or ‘good’ though, for anyone and as in, how many repetitions of specific exercises or distances ran / swam or whatever are a genuine measure of health / fitness etc. I understand it will always vary across individuals in relation to effort, weight etc but I wonder what a baseline / goal would be for someone, as some people view ‘healthy’ very different to others and often have no basis of what is ‘healthy’ etc.

I don’t think it’s up to someone to say men are lazy and need self respect either.

with full push ups I'm the same, think I can do 3, pull ups 1!

I've got little upper body strength but plenty overall, you know cos your not mean to use your back to lift so my legs do the hard graft all the time lol

sit ups, planks (can watch tv doing them), squats, stress holds, I have no issue with nor flex.

I got biceps...yet next to no triceps ha ha

your shitting me....thats a bag of horse feed! haha haha I could flip tonne bales 9 mths pregnant!!

(had to feed my horse, did make complications for delivery though as abs too tight).

small hay bales 25kg delivery load of 400, 2 women moving and stacking.

2.2 tonne car can push/pull that myself ...not uphill mind.

amazes me how many men think women can't be physically strong 'cos they are women...to me the trying to help al the time is irritating, if I couldn't do it I'd ask.

Never been a gym bunny...tried once and was bored so quickly, I've just always had a physical life & most are out of either necessary or hobbies usually both.

I'm incredibly independent & determined.

I always heard the term use it or loose it & thought that applied to body & mind
