You just got a call from a popular porn site / channel. They are offering you 1 million to have sex and to have it filmed and all rights go to them to have them distribute it how they want.
The catch? - It’s the last friend you had a conversation with by text message. They have been offered £1million also.

Nah not for 1 million it’d need to be nearer to 5 or a euro millions 3 week roll over. I hope EE customer services would be as excited about this as me?!  |

No can do. My last 'textee' is under the age of consent so big no-no.
The £1m fee is a curious figure these days. Yes, it would enable most people to pay off their mortgage and doubtless any other outstanding debt. It will also alleviate any 'better wait for payday' style budgeting. But sadly today it is many millions short of what is needed to sustain the archetypal 'millionaire's lifestyle' |

I guess it depends what kind of lifestyle you're looking for - was thinking about this yesterday with £1m even without interest (which wouldn't be much anyway these days) I could maintain my current lifestyle debt free and still live comfortably without having to work for the next 20-30 years which would take me into my mid 80s at the upper end - I'd be happy with that.
With sound advice as to the best way to invest it and live off it my life would certainly be comfortable enough.
Found an interesting article too which said that £1m in 1980 would earn you about £160k in interest alone if you just banked it - these days you'd get about £20k in interest |
