Social Distancing still applies.
I know we can meet outside with up to 5 others BUT ......... you must STILL be SIX feet apart.
I'm saying this cos people seem to think it's allllllll over.
Not all restrictions are lifted. I'm doing my bit to save ....... something or other |

"And we still have to stay local. A friend of mine is in a grump with me because I won't yet drive 80 miles to see her
Oh well....."
Actually you don’t have to stay local, you can’t stay overnight or go inside but you can travel for the day, the advice is to consider if you need to make the journey and if that “need” is to see a friend to improve your mental health for example then it is just fine
The whole thing is about not taking the piss. |

I'd need to go into her house to use the bathroom at least once during the visit, which is not allowed. I'm also not vaccinated yet, so I won't be going further afield until I've had at least the first jab. |

Actually going inside to use the toilet IS permitted you can ask walk through a house to access a garden if needed
It’s all your decision but it is not against the rules |

NOPE ..... before you dash off ....
We don't have to stay within a few miles but travelling is still not wanted..... only necessary travel and no overnight staying.........
You're not really allowed in others houses yet anyway... ( i'll just recheck that ) |

Try working in a supermarket where its a free for all now.
Even when you remind customers about distancing they look at you like you're mad.
Or the best one now is I've had my vaccine im ok...
yes but I haven't |

There are plenty of idiots out there, that’s for sure
I have had several clients call me up asking if I can see them over the last 3 months, no we are closed..... the response I get often is “ oh yes I know you are closed but can you not see me by appointment”. Errrrr NO
One guy wanted to get a doctors note to say he needed to see me |

I'll be staying home today. I already can picture the huge groups of people that will come out to meet and enjoy the hot weather we are lucky enough to be having over the next few days. It's already bad enough here as it is with huge groups of people going for walks so I can only imagine how crazy it will be today. |

So good it needed to be said twice.
I think people on the forum are, on the whole, sensible. I also think people are doing the best they can and making their own risk assessments. I also think that if this thread gets moved to the Virus section I will be sad.
That's a lot of thinking. |

I've been up since 5am, my brain is giving up slowly. I'm going to get a latte very soon and then there will be less strained thinking. |

It's NOT a virus thread. This is for the people that don't go to the virus thread.
It's a goey out thread. |

You have to use it if you are only going out AND if you are going OUTOUT.....
If you are out on your billy in the park ( cos that's all there is ) you must keep 12 remotes away from all the odd balls in your neighbourhood.
If you are going OUTOUT with 5 friends to the park ( cos that's all there is ) you must stay 12 remotes away from each friend and you must all stay 12 remotes away from everyone else......
Make that 15 remotes... I think I even exaggerated about the length of a remote..... I must be a bloke. |

"How many sky remotes distance worth is that granny
Can't believe I had to type that twice...
12..... does that help 12 remotes
Make that 15 little ones or 10 big ones..... "
My task for today is to determine how many Sky remotes 2m is. I don't know if my Sky remote is big or little as I have no cocks to measure it against. |

I think I'm going to go for a socially distanced walk with me, myself and I. Maybe fresh air will help. |

The night time restrictions are unfair for shift workers etc. Perhaps they should have called it a curfew |

"My Sky remote is 8 inches long.
9.5 Sky remotes is 2m.
Unless I measure it from the base of the bollocks and then 2m is 6 Sky remotes. "
I don't have a ***** but i've held a few.......
I judged them to be 20cm long. That's 5 per metre. 2 meters is 10.
8 inches is 20 cm ...... hmmmmm |

As soon as the sun started coming out a couple of weeks ago all the young people completely disregarded all the rules around here, huge groups of them all sat out in the parks with disposable BBQ's going or huddled together on millennium bridge passing jazz cigarettes around among themselves, and students from the uni having big house parties with taxis turning up from all over dropping more off. |

I've been sat in the garden of one of my single female fab friends today . It was lovely sitting in the sun talking about our tall stories from the club's over a year ago. Can't wait to get back to normal |
