couple, us we him her.

No but rewatched the original last night.

I am struggling to think that the updated version can do it justice.

McQueen and Hoffman brilliant.

There and to the left a bit

I've heard it's not too bad but struggle with the idea of watching it as the original is one of my favourite films and I suspect I may spend much of it making comparisons which would detract from any enjoyment of it

Stockport

I haven't seen it but why remake a classic, what purpose does that serve?

Terminate with extreme prejudice

In the middle

I watched most of it when channel flicking one night, honestly it’s not a patch on the original, it didn’t feel quite so bleak and tbh you can’t outshine Steve & Dustin

Not seen the original but remember finding the book at a rented holiday cottage as a teenager and not being able to put it down.

Brighton - even Hove!

The book was good. I last saw the Hoffman film many years ago and it was good.

Mr"

If you never watch another film make sure you watch the original beforehand - it's up there with the best

On a mooch

I’ve seen both. The remake, if you haven’t seen the original, is a good film but the original will always win this one for me.
