So it seems that Boney M's top 10 hit "Rasputin" is now viral and the most used video audio on Tik Tok making it a chart hit again 43 years after its original 1978 release....
So, which of your favourite disco classic would you want to see resurrected to the modern digital age?? |

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest |
"Good times by Chic
One of the smoothest and most sampled basslines in music history.
I love that track a real feel good factor"
They don't make them like they used to, that's for sure. Musical talent is sorely lacking in today's age. |

Indeed your sadly correct.
Why just as I type this I'm relaxing in the bath with Gloria Gaynors "never can say goodbye" absolute classic! |

Saw Nile Rogers and chic at a festival. It was one of the best nights of dancing I have ever had at a gig. Total retro perfection!
So, on that note
He's the greatest Dancer |

Oh, disco. Much maligned, and unjustifiably so.
Some fantastic tracks came out of this era!
For me, off the top of my head:
Disco Inferno - The Trammps
Stayin'Alive and Night Fever - The Bee Gees
Dancing Queen - ABBA
(these last three might be considered clichés but that doesn't detract from the fact that they are two classics of disco, and of pop music more generally)
And two of my absolute favourites...
Young Hearts Run Free - Candi Staton
Lost in Music - Sister Sledge
It's about time disco was taken more seriously...

"Street Life by Randy Crawford "
Another favourite of mine - I'd forgotten that one.
It was The Crusaders feat. Randy Crawford and check out the full version - it's nearly 10 minutes long! |

There's plenty of young musical talent. Every generation complains that the up and coming generation have poor taste in music etc. |

Might give it a whirl - more time to savour the brass section! |

Ahhh disco... brings me back to the 90's ... first school annual discos and you'd have all the classics going, fun and games ...
What I wouldnt do to relive the 90's again... it's a sad thing to think that discos arent as common now in schools and such.... kind of sad really |
