After reading the "Fb's meeting couples" thread....
Two people who meet as FB's may be much closer than say a married couple that barely even speak to each other.
Then there's the married couples that swing and adore and trust each other. Or the FB (or married) couples that get madly jealous when the other person so much as looks at another person.
But what makes a relationship? Are the first 2 examples above actually in relationships? |

think everyone's definition is different, but I do think it involves love, trust, respect, honesty, time and effort...if they aren't all available I personally don't think a relationship can be a happy one x |

trust
honesty
communication
love
the fact you enjoy being in the other company is important
again, though, some people are different.
some dont care about a lot of it
some relationships have run their course, but neither party is either confident, or willing, to call time on it.
that, to me, isnt a relationship, its a financial arrangement. stay together because we are financially stable, but cant stand being with each other.
us, we live apart, different countries, yet its very rare we will go an hour without being on the phone to each other.
we are always texting (when we first started going out i had a £150 bill, just for texting, at 11p each, thats some texts lol)
we see each other every other weekend, and weeks when i can get time off work, or when her ex has the kids and she can get away.
we dont have a typical relationship, but make it work because we are committed to each other. mind, body and soul |
