So after working 50 hours this week and able to have 5 days off from work I decided that I will get in the bath and I will have a couple of budweisers and do a new video some people have now messaged me saying that drinking at 8 in the morning now makes me an alcoholic I don't know how they work that out so a simple question is am I allowed to drink at 8 in the morning

Back in my student days I did some night shifts to pay rent (and beers ). I'd get home at 7 am and crack open a can of Guinness.

8am is your evening chill out. Go for it

I guess it is fine to have a drink as long as it is not the first of many throughout the day.

I've been known to crack open the champagne at 6am after a hard shift

If you've been working nights and want to crack open a tot to celebrate the start of your your days off go for it.

But in general, if you're drinking at 9am then yes, I'd think there was a problem.

Unless you continually worked nights then 9am wouldn be like 7pm...

I drink 6 nights a week and probably d*unk 4 nights a week.

Yes I like a drink but it never gets in the way of my work.

It relaxes me, makes me feel good and yes I look forward to it during the day.

I have no desire to stop drinking.

Female.

Shifts mess with your body clock, it’s really just a night cap. Enjoy

Drink whenever you like. I knew a guy who worked nights and would go to wetherspoins for a breakfast and a pint after his shift. No different to someone working days going out after work.
