Hi

so i am in the market for a new multisport watch for when i am working from home and going to get all fit and healthy and shit

i currently have (somewhere) a tomtom runner 2 but it is old and lost.

i dont want to spend more than £150 really but do want gps (not connected gps), HRM or ability to link to a chest strap, nice looking, ability to link to strava cos if it isnt on strava did it really happen??

i would like to monitor running/walking, cycling, gym/strength training and swimming as a minimum.

hit me!!!

Depends on the phone you have, but The hwawei one is only 30 and has way more capability than fitbit etc

Totally depends on phone. We both love our Samsung watches, both have different ones, but do all that we need

"Withings Steel "

i have been looking at the withings ones, but do you need your phone on you for the GPS to work? i like my tomtom because the gps is more accurate than my phone.

Yes you do but I think they have created a new one with GPS in it ? Maybe not

Well a Samsung watch syncs better with a Samsung phone. Believe an apple watch only works with iphone...

I’ve been a fan of Fitbit for a while, and on about my 4th model now .... the Versa 2.

It measures all the things I need it to - including sleep, and does link to Strava.

I swear by mine.

ah ok, i get it. i was more looking at non-phone related ones as i will probably change my phone from huawei next upgrade due to the whole ban thing lol although i do like the look of the huawei watches which is a bummer

Definitely Garmin. Massive range but you probably won't need anything top of the range like the Fenix 6. You can easily pick a second hand one up for your budget. I've been doing triathlon for 3 years with a second hand Garmin forerunner 920XT and it's still perfect. Do your research but you won't be disappointed. The Garmin app is brilliant and synchs perfect with Strava.

I had a tomtom watch for years and was generally pleased with it. At Xmas though I got a Garmin because it would work with a new cycling computer... the Garmin is loads better, particularly the 14 day battery life.

Look at the huawei band with GPS if you have a huawei, it's about £50 and does everything you'll need for exercise.
