Chatting to this guy on here, lots of banter, house on fire, we swap numbers, couple of days on WhatsApp, banter continues... Wake up and I'm blocked.. Oookkkayy... So message him on here.. Why the block? Asking for an explanation, something a grown up would have given is not unreasonable no? ... message unread for a few days then blocked on here too... I swear at no point did I send him an unsolicited fanny pic.. Maybe that's the problem.. Hey ho..we move...   |

It's probably him, not you, as others have said, partner finding out, him getting guilt pangs, or scared by fantasy becoming reality, he might be game playing, just being a dick. Don't take it personally, move on and find someone else, plenty more angler fish in the deep sea! |

I have this happen to me a lot, but I expect it especially when they actually read my profile and find out I'm not truly a woman, I will say it is most definitely his loss you look fantastic.
One thing I have discovered is that men's hormones tend to start increasing this time of year up to May and so their members think for them instead of their brains and like others have said here it's probably his partner had found out or he didn't have the conviction of his actions and ran off scared, needless to say there is something much better than him around the corner just for you |

In terms of your specific situation, it sounds like maybe he got caught texting and killed it? That’s my cynicism talking though.
I will say that there are a lot of double standards on this as a guy in your situation would get a lot of ‘you did something wrong’ or ‘they can cut contact at any point for any reason, that’s their prerogative’.
Perhaps the question should be more; at what point in a conversation does the other party owe you an explanation for cutting contact? When does it become ghosting? |

Agreed. Men are grumpy, prone to mood swings, hysterics... all the commonly attributed to women hormonal behaviour.
Anyway, people change their mind all the time. That's ok. It might be down to hormones, it might be due to wanking and losing interest. The only way of knowing is by asking directly and if that's not an available option, just move on. |

I totally agree with you regarding the double standard re men and women.
I guess I just treat people how I wish to be treated and apply my own standards therein.. If I've lost interest/ changed my mind I always, always tell them.. I've never ghosted anyone because I know how hurtful it can be xx |

Swinging with my previous partner, we found more often than not that guys would get 'fanny fright'. I think for a lot of men unfortunately that when the fantasy becomes reality, they scare themselves out of meeting. Take care and stay safe x |

Wouldn’t say hormonal as such with us guys but we do have some strange thought processes. It sounds like in this instance the wife found out or he’s been chatting to a few different ladies and he’s clicked with one and just not done the gentlemanly thing and said so. Bad form on his part that’s for sure. |
