Best advice, if you don't get lucky with taking to someone genuine for a meet, have a chat with someone willing on cam to verify you're not a bot. |

It's a year on. I'd argue that's enough time to come to terms with it. Not denigrating your experience, but it doesn't mirror my own or that of those I know.
There are a lot of people talking, they're just not committing. Or they're fake (I know you aren't).

Job losses, on your arse financially, losing loved ones, relationship breakdowns, exhaustion for those who have been working all through, there's more to lockdown than loss of freedom and I think most of us know someone who lost their life. I'm not sure you can place a time limit on grief.

Perhaps not, but by that very statement you tacitly admit that it's different for everyone. There are very clearly people on here for whom none of those things are a barrier.
Again, really not trying to denigrate or start an argument; moreso trying to present a counter argument that I feel is just as valid.
Sorry to hear that you've suffered. I have too. I think most people have to some degree, but the longer this continues the more I think the mental toll could be just as damaging as any physical one, particularly when it's far more likely to affect people.
For what it's worth, I don't know anyone who's had Covid let alone lost their life. My ex-brother in law died because of the isolation. I wear my mask, distance, so my best to adhere to the 'rules', but my child goes back to school with hundreds of people who don't...
I just think this is a really polorising subject and not one that's black and white.
I want to do what's best for everyone, but I'm really suffering cognitively. I feel selfish wanting to connect with someone, even though I is the risk is minimal.
Anyway, probably beyond the remit of this thread and I'm not looking for a fight (quite the opposite). I hope things get better for you x |

It’s hard to get verifications other than cam at the moment !!! I got a cracker but it’s hidden due obviously to Covid ! Maybe pay the £5 subscription and you may have better look in the future  |
