"Has anyone else had the experience of being blocked just because they have fabbed a pic on here. "
Its a common complaint from men. They get blocked for fabbing pics, winking, sending friend requests. Sometimes even looking at a persons profile more than once.
Just take it you dodged a bullet. They probably put cream on scones before the jam. You dont want to meet folk like that. X |

Not that I know of , but I'm aware that I have been blocked by people I have had no interaction with at all .
Don't worry about it , they must have their reasons ... |

"To be fair im not fussed just wondered if it was a regular thing on here as comes across quite petty"
How do you know that was the reason?
They could have looked at your profile having seen you'd fabbed a pic of theirs and off the back of that, perhaps discovering you've nowt in common or you were their brother and they thought "ohhhh fuck fuck help!" they hit the block button to prevent future comms.
Some people block everyone they're not interested in fucking, some block people in their local area as they don't swing on their own doorstep, some block because they don't like the profile name, some don't block anyone at all.
So many reasons, some of which you may not have thought about, many of which aren't personal to you, but personal to the blocker. |

It ain't worth fretting over. Just accept they had a reason which to them is very valid |

If u can't see a profile but know they are online does that mean that person has blocked u? I cant see them at all or search for them however someone else can see them. |

I've never understood why people get annoyed or upset or think it's petty when someone blocks that they haven't had any interaction with other than a wink or a like. |

Sometimes people just block people they know they’ll never be interested in, saves wasting each other’s time later if you did message. |

Our block is to filter out anyone we don't match with, not just people who do something wrong. There are flippin' loads of people on here. The less unsuitable ones in our searches, the easier it is to find people who match.
I'm certain people do the same to us and I don't take it personally. Or whinge about it

"No idea. I don't check who has blocked me or who hasn't.
If someone wants me to know they'd have to tell me.
I am telling you
With this lovely Haiku
Never see me again "
I just checked it out
You are a big lying shit
Block-ed I am not |

It makes me laugh that people take being blocked so personally!
If I’m not interested in someone I may block them, so I don’t come across them when I search and so they don’t was the their time messaging me again. It’s not a negative, it actually makes things easier for both. |

I have no idea if I have been blocked by anyone but I'm sure I have. I fab pics all the time... Its not a come on.. Its just being nice and appreciate the photo. Anyone who blocks that is certainly a bullet dodged.. As for cream on Scone before jam '. That's unforgivable.. I would block someone for that too |

How would you know if that's the reason they blocked you? You have no way of confirming that do you? |

If I’ve blocked someone without any interaction it’s usually because I’ve read their profile or seen a post that’s incredibly off putting, rude or insulting etc or I’ll block if I know who it is and want to avoid recognition. |

I block men who obviously didn't read my bio and are simply objectifying me, why bother indulging them when they haven't bothered to note my preferences. |

I've been blocked loads by people. I just assume I'm not for them. I've even had people who've blocked me, then come up and chatted to me at clubs/parties.
People have so many reasons why they block other's. I tend not to take it personally |

I occasionally block people who have have limits on whom they will accept messages from, but only a few so far. I kind of accept the same will happen in return if someone isn't interested in you.
Where it becomes annoying/rude is if you've interacted. In that case it's only right they say you're not for them, but most people are cowards.
I've noticed that during lockdown there are far more profiles that set up and never sign on again, or join, have a few messages, then get booted. It's shit, but pervasive. |

I've been blocked by a woman for trying to defend her against nasty comments a couple were throwing at her. Lucky for her she had the forum whiteknight to defend her also as she obviously didn't want another female to support her. |
