with people immediately, within a minute or so. I am not just talking about teh scene but more in general. What is that all about, that almost instant feeling of being comfortable with somebody you never met before?

This is so true in all parts of life I think, sometimes u meet someone and just know that ur going to be friends with that person forever! Guess its the elusive question of chemistry!

in Lancashire

some sort of natural sense we have perhaps..

hidden away and clouded by our necessary but sometimes obsessive dalliance with technology..

lot to be said for 'gut feeling'

we are basically an animal after all..

As already mentioned before, I can decide if I like/dislike someone based on very little.

The land of grey peas and bacon

I clicked with my best friend the minute I met him.. We have our issues but its a solid friendship.. I think you are right though there is some people you click with instantly and there is some that you click with over a period of time. There is some however that you don't click with and you know you never will.. Not everyone will like us but that is part and parcel its about being with the ones that you do and meeting new people to click with... Some people might hate me or think I am weird or bonkers.. However there are lots of clicks in my life...

the woman in the next bed to mum in the hospital has clicked with me

she has dementia of some sort and seems alone so i always make a point of saying hello and asking how she is

mum said it's the only time she sees her smile when i come in

Its because in a former life they where close to you, could have been your mother, brother, friend, but they have come to be close to you again

.

Spoke to a guy on here and unlike me arranged a meet within a few days. But was on the understanding that a social meet would not guarantee anything further.

Within 5 mins of meeting all I could think was hell, how quick can I get this drink down my throat and get him into bed.

And yes he is a good one lol

That is really lovely and heart warming - makes you wonder what goes on in her head.

Think smiling goes a long way and certainly makes a person look more friendly and less threatening..

Elderly and Children are more responsive.
