He's a really positive and enthusiastic young man.
Considering that a potentially fatal accident, pretty much ruined his chances of what was shaping up to be a fantastic career in motor racing, his attitude to life in general is brilliant. |

Absolutely. Most would have given up. He kept on and I think it's great.. |

It's great that he's had access to the best rehabilitation and other technology to enable him to continue with his intended career. Unfortunately such support and enablement in recovery are not afforded to all amputees or others with limb injury. |

True.
The options available to the general public are often woefully inadequate.
Though I don't begrudge him it. |

I'd of thought even with what technology and rehab he was given it would have been his determination and will to get to where he is now.
He did a great inspirational challenge that's what I was acknowledging. |

Certainly don't begrudge it at all. My FWB is a below the knee amputee and the NHS was completely unable to offer him anything to get him properly mobile again. His rehab has been accelerated only by private care, paid for through the compensation after his accident but that took years to come through and some damage is now permanent.
It sounds straightforward to just get amputees up and "running" (or driving) but people who get complex devices are almost certainly benefitting from some sort of private or charity funded rehab and prosthetics. |
