They have the abbreviation BBW.
But the poor old slim ladies are missing out. They haven't got an abbreviation. What abbreviation would you give for a slim lady? |

"I’m glad you used the word slim instead of ‘skinny’ which someone used on another thread.
I think the word skinny sounds unhealthy, to me anyway."
It has negative Connotations |

How about we stop labelling other people and just let them describe themselves as they see fit?
I'd say I was curvy, but others would say slim. I'd also say I was flat chested, where others say I'm hourglass. |

I hate being referred to as a BBW personally and wouldn't put a similar label on a slimmer woman.
Tbh her size isn't going to be important enough to me to comment on it unless asked, in which case she'd be slim and if applicable in my opinion, beautiful.

"Do people really needs labels, can't we let them be themselves "
I am myself but I also identify myself as a BBW as it allows those who like the bigger ladies to find me easier and more importantly, let's those who don't like us leave us alone (mostly ).
Just because I use 3 letters to let people know my body type doesn't mean my individuality is taken away from me. |

Thats the beauty of free will for us to use those labels, I agree individuality isint lost as we have many facets as humans |

I was called Twiggy all through school which didn't bother me as I was slim, but also very athletic.
And I used to describe my slim friends as having a "body like a bottle".
Sometimes I feel socially obligated to say you're not fat, you look great or you're not too thin. I've used the words fat, slim, thin, skinny completely objectively in the past with no malice or ill intent but try not to use those words on here for fear of fuelling any sort of fire with folk. Does that make sense? |
